Don't measure your success by counting prestige symbols and imitating other people, but by living the aspects of the Success Mechanism:

S U C C E S S
S : Sense of direction. You must have a goal, a goal within your capabilities.
U: Understanding. You must understand your needs and the needs of others. You may be an island within yourself but you belong on the mainland with others. There is a saying "It is better to understand a little than to musunderstand a lot."
C: Courage. You must have courage to take your chances in life, to get your feet wet. If you make a mistake, then try again. Try. Try. Try!
C: Compassion. You must have compassion for yourself as well as for others. You must see yourself and others with kind eyes if you want to be happy and discard the terrifying feeling of loneliness. "Compassion is the basis of all morality."
E: Esteem. If you have not respect for yourself, no one will give it to you. A greek author once said, "What I made I lost; what I gave I have." When you contribute to life you enlarge your sense of worth, your self-respect.
S: Self-Acceptance. You must accept yourself for what you are. Never try to be someone else. George Bernard Shaw said, "better keep yourself clean and bright. You are the window through which you see the world."
S: Self-Confidence. You must remember the confidence of past success in your undertaking. You must concentrate on success in your present undertaking. You must concentrate on success like professional players in sports. They are out to win now. You must use that technique to be a champion in the art of living, remembering that you cannot be a champion 100% of the time.
